Christian Journey
Sherline Jones is a devoted Christian whose spiritual journey has been shaped by a lifelong commitment to God, prayer, worship, ministry, and service. As the daughter of a pastor, she was introduced to Christian faith and ministry at an early age and has continued to pursue a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ throughout the various seasons of her life.
As an infant, Sherline was dedicated to God through sprinkling at Greater Light Baptist Church by Pastor Reverend Joseph Williams. After her father, Dr. Andrew Jones, accepted a pastoral assignment, she continued her spiritual development at Greater Solomon’s Temple Baptist Church. At seven years old, she was baptized in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. At age 12, she personally accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.
Although Sherline recalls experiencing the presence and influence of the Holy Spirit throughout her childhood and early Christian development, her spiritual journey deepened significantly at age 18 when she experienced the Baptism of the Holy Spirit in accordance with Acts 2:4 while worshiping within the Church of God in Christ.
Approximately six months later, during an annual illness with strep throat, Sherline believed the Holy Spirit was leading her toward another expression of baptism. She subsequently received baptism within the Apostolic tradition in the name of Jesus Christ, consistent with Acts 2:38. Despite these different denominational experiences, she continued serving faithfully within her father’s church while remaining committed to the pursuit of God’s presence. Her diverse Christian background also allowed her to develop meaningful relationships with people from a variety of faith traditions.
Approximately one year later, her father released her with his blessing to serve in another ministry simultaneously. She became involved with This Is Pentecost Ministries, a ministry influenced by the Church of God in Christ faith and affiliated with an organization known as The Fellowship. During this period, her willingness to follow the spiritual leadership of the pastor’s wife, who is now the pastor, introduced her to the ministries of the late Dr. Dorothy Estella Boyd and the late Dr. Gertrude Stacks. Sherline considers those encounters significant moments in her spiritual development and believes their ministries had a lasting influence on her life.
Her Christian journey has also included difficult personal experiences.
Because the gang-like group stalking persisted, it resulted in the death of a friend who was a pastor’s wife, who prayed with her, dying prematurely while believing God for a healing, because her intravenous medication had been tampered with possibly due to a stalker believing that she was coaching Sherline into leaving an abusive situation. Years later, while serving in the deceased woman's husband’s church, a young Black American woman joined the church months after Sherline and appeared to be in competition with Sherline trying to obtain the pastor’s attention and even acting like she knew him. However, the pastor did not know her and made this publicly known in front of his congregation. The young woman was found mysteriously dead. The circumstances surrounding her death yet remain a mystery and questionable because the details resemble stalking patterns that Sherline experienced in 1993-1994 in Sacramento, California.
Unfortunately, the perpetrators yet stalk and use people in the group stalking, ranging from apartment maintenance technicians, alarm company installation technicians, and individuals in a variety of occupations to help facilitate the organized group stalking, who try to appear like federal law enforcement agencies such as the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Central Intelligence Administration (CIA), but are not. This has caused much distress for Sherline, and she felt she had to leave her beloved Pentecostal family due to group stalkers appearing at the church pretending to be FBI and CIA agents. Additionally, the preacher’s social media presences were being stalked by the bogus agents, and consequently, the perpetrators stalked Sherline as if the preacher’s messages and/or Facebook posts were exclusively about Sherline. The messages were not about Sherline. They were legitimate and credible pastors who were feeding their flock with messages that were associated with real issues of their communities and providing biblical resolutions.
Her pastor was not in favor of her leaving because in his Godly wisdom, he knew that the stalkers would stalk no matter where she went. He was correct. She left and went to another faith that is now subjected to infiltration.
She joined the faith due to a Godly couple whom she had supported at various times in her career. She observed their Godly character and true love for God in the marketplace and in their community of faith. She visited their church numerous times and was also requested to sing at their vow renewal wedding ceremony. The two had been consistently married for over 20 years, with God at the center, praying every day with their home being like a retreat. Because group stalking is a real phenomenon, there are individuals even pretending to know the Godly couple but do not know them. Key: When you know someone, you can clearly state association versus role-playing association.
Unfortunately, due to this profound group-stalking infiltration within a certain space, after ten years of progression, for the past five years, Sherline’s career mobility has been stagnated and almost railroaded by several types of individuals, some of whom wrongfully pretend to know fame preachers and are trying to punish Sherline, thinking that she was their stalker. When it was the same famed preachers who gave her opportunities to use her gifts as well as grow in her gifts using skills that she can also use professionally. For that, she will always be grateful.
In terms of change management, unfortunate experiences are not seasons to become bitter, and, in some cases, trying to change people who refuse to do the right thing can be futile. It is best to count your losses and move forward peaceably while remaining professional.
Sherline also describes several profound spiritual experiences throughout her life. As a child, she recalls an experience involving the Blessed Virgin Mary that she believes provided spiritual protection during periods of danger. As an adult, she reports additional experiences that she understood as involving saints and angels and believes these experiences contributed to her spiritual protection and discernment.
Also, within the Pentecostal faith, she also had angelic experiences and heavenly experiences in which God allowed her to have a heavenly encounter while doing intercessory prayer with a credible bishop who she has witnessed as a man that loves the people of God, which is why she disagrees with many public commentators who might be misguided by rumors. During this heavenly encounter, with discernment, he called her back into her body. God yet has work for Sherline to complete on the earth. Although the two have taken alternative paths, she will always be grateful for him trusting her to pray, appointing her to sing, and actively participate in other ministries. Although she respects him and his choice, she has decided to live the remainder of her life dedicated to the service of God without marrying.
Contrary to a multitude of lies widely spread by the two Black male stalkers and their group stalking constituents, Sherline Jones is not and has never been a drug addict and is not and has never been an alcoholic or suicidal. Sherline has never been a clinician and has no interest whatsoever in being a clinician. Sherline had never been promiscuous and engaged in inappropriate sexual conduct with a workplace executive, the bishop, or any of his brother servants. These were vicious and destructive lies spread by individuals who embody the spirits of envy and jealousy who tried to derail her professionally and spiritually.
Her personal history has included challenges, disappointments, and circumstances that required forgiveness and firm boundaries. Regarding the father of her children, Sherline has chosen forgiveness without reconciliation. Sherline gives him the grace to peacefully move forward with his past wife of 20 years or the second wife of 16 years, if the women so choose to do so. The women also have the God-given choice to move forward as well. In Sherline forgiving him, he is not her friend, he is not living with her, and he will not be marrying her. If he makes any type of unwanted contact, legal proceedings to cease and desist the unwanted contact will commence. Further, any ministries that he attempts to infiltrate to use religion to bind her, she will peaceably move forward in the name of Jesus Christ. Please note, the two famed preachers and the famed female tele-evangelist are not trying to bind her to him. Their messages and social media are being stalked by individuals affiliated with the stalkers.
Despite challenges, Sherline is grateful to God for the blessing of being a biological mother and grandmother. Through every transition, Sherline’s message to women remains consistent: Love God anyway.
Life brings change. Relationships change. Circumstances change. People may disappoint us, misunderstand us, demean us, scorn us, or leave our lives entirely. Nevertheless, the love of God remains steadfast. His love does not expire, deceive, or diminish because of human circumstances. Love God anyway.
Sherline has turned the terror into triumph and encourages women to pursue God wholeheartedly, exercise wisdom and discernment in their relationships, establish healthy boundaries, and remain mindful of the people to whom they give access to their lives. Her journey has taught her that worship is more than a song or a church service; worship is a life surrendered to God. Everyone in this life will experience unfavorable experiences. However, everything in your life will work together for the good purposes of God. (Inspired by Romans 8:1).
Love God anyway. This is the essence of worship. Be mindful of your connections. People who are envious of your success will try to become blockers of your future.
